Czech fake cab driver busted after posting fake news

Czech authorities say a man who allegedly posted fake news about a taxi company on Facebook has been arrested and charged with a crime.

The man, who is not named in the report, was taken into custody in Prague on Wednesday, according to a statement from the Czech Interior Ministry.

The man allegedly posted false information about the taxi company, according a statement by the Interior Ministry, and the investigation into the matter is ongoing.

The agency added that the man’s wife is also among those arrested.

The statement did not identify the taxi driver.

The Czech news agency Radiocap reported that the woman’s husband, who was detained, is being investigated for allegedly threatening to harm the taxi cab company.

The company said in a statement that it was investigating the situation.

In November, the Czech Republic’s transport minister and deputy prime minister also posted fake information about Uber.
