With the NBA playoffs underway, the NBA is gearing up to make its first-ever Taco Cabins game this Saturday night.
The first of many, the game will be played at 7:30 p.m. on the first Saturday of October at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
It’s the first time in franchise history that an NBA franchise has hosted a Taco Cabin game.
“We want to give our fans an opportunity to see our players and see what we have to offer in this area of Southern California,” NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said in a statement.
“The Taco Cabini is a great way to give fans an experience to make a difference in a very underserved area.”
The NBA has hosted its first Taco Cabinns game before, when the league held a game at the Toyota Center in 2009.
This is the first Taco Campi game in a decade, and the league hopes to make the tradition permanent.
In addition to the NBA’s first Taco Caravan game, Taco Cabinis will also be featured on the NFL Network and the official Twitter account for the Los Angeles Clippers.
